YB Tuan Wee Choo Keong meminta Menteri Kewaangan menyatakan

(a) setakat 28 Februari 2010 yang lalu berapakah cukai “airport”yang dihutang AirAsia?.

(b) berdasarkan program pengembangan yang diusahakan oleh AirAsia dan aktiviti penjualan tiket “lebih dahulu” melalui online syarikat ini,apakah mekanisme yang diambil oleh kerajaan bagi memastikan syarikat ini akan memenuhi “financial obligation” kepada penumpang?

(c) adakah kerajaan akan melakukan “Bail Out” terhadap syarikat AirAsia sekiranya syarikat ini jatuh merundum seperti mana yang telah berlaku terhadap JAL di Jepun?

Many issues/problems have been brought to the attention of Datuk Bandar by MPs in Wilayah Persekutuan.

YB Karpal Singh, you should apologise for your outburst of Feb 8, 2009!

It has been reported in The Star newspapers today that YB Karpal Singh, the DAP Chairman and MP for Bukit Gelugor, has said that “Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim can remain as Opposition Leader because he continues to command the confidence of opposition MPs, said DAP chairman Karpal Singh.”

The position of the Opposition Leader, which is held by YB Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, has not been questioned by any of the opposition MPs. Therefore, it should not be an issue for YB Karpal Singh to make such a statement unless YB Karpal Singh is trying to show that he had “repented” for casting aspersions upon the Opposition Leader on February 08, 2009.

DBKL should cut its administration expenditures

As I was moving around the Wangsa Maju area, I observed that there was no lantern put up for the Chinese New Year celebration. I called up a high ranking officer and I am told that DBKL is on a costs cutting exercise due to the current state of the economy. I do accept that DBKL should embark on the costs cutting exercise so that the tax payers will not be over burdened.
