On 31 January 2020 the Learned UK Crown Court Judge, Dame Victoria Sharp P, delivered a damning Judgement / Verdict in a case between the Director of Serious Fraud Office of UK and Airbus SE for giving bribes to directors and employees of AirAsia and AirAsia X of Malaysia and others.
Yours truly is pleased to learn that at last on 8-9-2013 Alwafeer Air, a Jeddah based chartered airline, was ordered by the Court in Jeddah to pay all the outstanding wages within 60 days to the 32 cabin crews and pilots. Yours truly would like to congratulate the 32 ex-MAS staffs for their success in the pursuit of their outstanding hard earned salaries, which Alwafeer Air owed them for years.
The MAS/AirAsia share swap deal: “AirAsia’s Fernandes to gain 20% stake in national carrier”. The front page sources story in the Star today. “Fernandes declined to comment when asked about the deal.”, so says The Star. This was not what we know of Tony Fernandes, who loves publicity and is well known to jump on anything to say his bit to enhance his image. Read HERE.
This “share swap deal” is a joke of the century. It would appear that now AirAsia, which has been known to have the special “abilities” to owe airport taxes to the tune of more than RM125 million since it inception until 2010, has been made out to look like a white knight for MAS.
THE PERTINENT QUESTION NOW IS: IS AIRASIA BAILING OUT MAS OR MAS HAS BEEN USED AS A VEHICLE TO BAIL OUT AIRASIA? Your views please, YB Senator Datuk Idris Jala, the former CEO of MAS, on this issue.

Tuan Wee Choo Keong ( Wangsa Maju ) minta MENTERI KEWANGAN menyatakan jumlah kos konsultansi yang dibayar oleh Khazanah Nasional Berhad untuk semua projek sejak tahun 2003 memberikan butiran dengan nama firma perunding terhadap projek, jumlah dan tarikh.
It was most shocking to discover that the Ministry of Finance did not bother to provide the answers to one of my Parliamentary Questions for written answers, HERE, which was supposed to be answered in the October – December 2010 Session. I knew that it was not going to easy for the Khazanah Bhd to provide answers to this question. The main reason being that millions of Ringgit have been paid out to the so-called consultants for projects during the Tun Abdullah period, which was also popularly known as the “4th Floor Administration”. Malaysia was then headed by the de facto PM, you know who lah …. It was also the honey moon period for the government where there was little scrutiny by the opposition.
