AirAsia X SdnBhd (AAX) has terminated its London, Paris and Mumbai routes in February 2012. The said termination involved 30,000 passengers. On 13-3-2012 AAX terminated its Christchurch routes from May 30, 2012.

En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya (AJ), the Group CEO of MAS and En Mohammed Rashdan Yusofaka Danny (Rashdan), Deputy Group CEO of MAS and an Amok’s crony, have stressed on cost cutting under their New Business Plan to save MAS.
