SOALAN – SOALAN UNTUK SESI PARLIMEN JUN 2012 OLEH YB WEE CHOO KEONG [WANGSA MAJU]
Datuk Azman Yahya
NO to Share “SUAP”, NO to Rashdan, Shane Nollan, PlaneConsult, Rozman Omar, Azhari Dahlan, Nor Zalida & others

Updates @ 3:55 pm on 9-5-2012: Yours truly has just been reminded by a reader Mr KL Ang that Mr Martin Barrow is another Mat Salleh that was brought back to MAS after the infamous Share “SUAP” and that he is just as incompetence as Mr Shane Nollan. Mr Martin Barrow was brought back by AJ on 19-1-2012 to be Advisor to Group CEO and he also sit on the Board Safety & Security Committee and advise MAS on “Global developments on wide range of commercial issues”, in HERE.
With such Mat Salleh Advisor and yet AJ and the top management of MAS are still in desperate need for the other consultant firms like PlaneConsult and others to think for them. No wonder MAS is BLEEDING due to the “TOP HEAVY MANAGEMENT”. Please read “Time to bring real aviation experts onto MAS board”.
On 18-4-2012 MAS Board of Directors saw it fit to extend the appointment of PlaneConsult, which is also the consultant for AirAsia and AirAsia X Sdn Bhd (AAX), for another three months from 30-4-2012. Similarly, Mr Shane Nollan, of PlaneConsult, as the Acting Commercial Director of MAS was also extended. Why are the TRIO and the Board of Directors of MAS were so bent in harbouring Mr Shane Nollan and PlaneConsult in MAS when both are tainted with glaring CONFLICT OF INTEREST?
Genuine collaboration needs no share “SUAP”!

Updates @ 9:00 pm 1-5-2012: TV3 Buletin Utama has made an informed speculation that the MAS-AirAsia share “Suap” will be reversed tomorrow. If it does happen tomorrow then those appointed after the said secret share suap must also be reversed or terminated. The appointment of ex-ArirAsia officers like En Rozman Omar, now CFO of MAS and En Azhari Dahlan, now CEO of MAS Engineering and Mr Shane Nollan of PlaneConsult, as Acting Commercial Director of MAS should be terminated forthwith. They are unfit to hold those key posts in MAS due to their apparent conflict of interest. PlaneConsult itself should be terminated forthwith if it has been renewed at the tail end of its contract by the present the TRIO or Board of Directors. PlaneConsult is a consultant for low cost airline and also the consultant for AirAsia and AirAsia X Sdn Bhd.
The above actions are very necessary to ensure that the CCF is genuine and will be implemented transparently, and more importantly to ensure no conflict of interest in all decisions, which are so rampant in MAS now. Of course, Rahsdan and gang, and those members of the Board of Directors must also be removed immediately. It is hoped that after the announcement tomorrow, the members of Board of Directors will take the honorable step to RESIGN forthwith. If those personalities remain in MAS after the secret share swap has been reversed by YAB Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak, another campaign will have to be launched to get rid of them. It is hoped that those unwelcome “GUESTS” in MAS will not overstay. Rashdan, are you still around in MAS?
Ten months have elapsed after the MAS-AirAsia share swap and CCF, there is nothing positive came out of it except glaring conflict of interest. Genuine collaboration does not need a share swap deal to be successful.
AJ & Rashdan: “What cost cutting?” Part 6 – PlaneConsult fees RM2.8 mil!

AJ & Rashdan: “What Cost Cutting?” Part 5 – MAS uplifted Firefly passengers with Zero Fare

Updates @ 8:30 pm 26-3-2012: TV 3 News at 8: “SC said there is a basis to investigate into MAS for insiders trading related to the MAS – AirAsia share swap. But SC cleared AirAsia for it.” Next posting will be on what AJ and Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar briefed the MPs in Parliament in Parliament House this afternoon..
In November 2010 Firefly commenced its commercial jets for domestic routes and begin with crossover routes, e.g. Kota Kinabalu and Kuching, on Jan 15. Asean will be its next stop. Firefly started to operate new routes with is jets to compete with AirAsia. Competition is, of course, good for consumers/travelers. AirAsia and AirAsia X Sdn Bhd began to feel the heat. Read HERE.
Aj & Rashdan: “WHAT COST CUTTING?” Part 3 – Zero Fare for uplifting 30,000 passengers of AirAsia X

Updates @2:40 pm 16-3-2012: The police report has been officially lodged at about 12 noon under Kg Baru Subang Report No: 1810 / 12. The detail of the said police report will be posted later.
Updates @ 9:30 am 16-3-2012: A police report will be lodged at 11:30 am at Jalan Bandar Police Station regarding this matter.
En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya (AJ), the Group CEO of MAS and En Mohammed Rashdan Yusof aka Danny (Rashdan), Deputy Group CEO of MAS and an Amok’s crony, have stressed on cost cutting under their New Business Plan to save MAS. Are they seriously walking their talks or just a slogan for people with consultant mentality to fool the Government and the entire nation?
Another poor attempt at spinning!

Updated on 18-11-2011: YB Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha, Minister of Transport, said yesterday that the Cabinet had approved the increase in charges in February 2009 and the delay in imposing the new rates had caused the tax payers RM180 millions a year in subsidizing international travelers. There had been a lot of other increases done by the airlines quietly and nobody is making noise, said the Minister in respond to Dr Spinner’s dissatisfaction through the social media. Read HERE for the increases in AirAsia’s hidden charges. The Government should stop entertaining private airlines’ business model just for them to make profits at the expense of tax payers.
Tan Sri Tony Fernandes’ (Tony) contention is that the RM7.oo increase is too much to pay for LCCT which he likens to an “airconditioned horse stable” on Twitter. The hike also affect travelers and he claimed that it was unjustified and that it would affect his business. He said on Twitter. “…RM25 for services in LCCT? What a rip off! It’s an air-conditioned horse stable!’ He said on his Faebook, “AirAsia has been fighting to make them cheaper for common man. Airport taxes are paid by Malaysians and passengers. The money doesn’t go to AirAsia but MAHB.”
YB Tan Sri Nor Yakop and Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar: It is never too late to say “NO”!

Updated @ 9:55 pm on 20-9-2011: MAS has terminated its service KLIA – Bandung – KLIA as from 4-10-2011. Please visit the MAS website and see for yourself in HERE. This is another profitable route that has been terminated by this whizz kid En Mohammed Rashdan Yusof and his management team. The profitable routes of JB – KK & Kuching – JB were also terminated from 15-9-2011. During the recent Hari Raya season, several Firefly full load flights were also canceled. The new Managing Director should now reviewed all decisions taken by this whiz kid Rashdan and his management team. He should immediately stop this whiz kid Rashdan from running “Amok” in MAS before its too late.

Tan Sri Nor Yakop, Tan Sri Azman, Rashdan & Tan Sri Md Nor: Spare YAB PM, Please!

The sudden announcement of the secret MAS – Air Asia share swap was a repeat of the sale of the 70% of MAS Catering Sdn Bhd (MCSB) some eight years ago in 2003, aka “Golden Era” for the lucky few!. The said sale of MCSB was sealed during the time of DATO’ MD NOR bin MD YUSOF (as he then was), the then the Managing Director of MAS. He was also instrumental in the commissioning of BinaFikir Sdn Bhd to restructure MAS under the pretext of transforming MAS into an “asset light airline” under the project name “Widespread Assets Un-Bundling” aka “WAU”, in HERE. WAU! MAS definitely got lighter and lighter after being WAUed by the Bina dulu, tak Fikir langsung!
Rashdan & Co: BINA tak Fikir wang rakyatkah?

It was reported in the Star today that the sponsorship for QPR home jersey will cost MAS RM18 million for two years. Whereas in June 2011 Genting UK sponsors Aston Villa, a much more renown team, main jersey for only RM17 million also for two years. For full report, please see below. This was how En Mohmed Rashdan Yusof aka Danny, the newly crowned Executive Director of MAS by Khazanah, was trying to save MAS from the brink. It was a senseless decision by MAS. A clear case of no due diligence being exercised before making the decision. Just like the secret MAS-Asia share swap! A clear case of being led by the nose!
