After some 10 months in MAS En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya (AJ), as MAS Group CEO, should have been able to identify some of the major leakages that needed to be plugged as part of his many BIG turnaround plans. But it would appear that AJ is more interested in plugging the wrong LEAKS!

MAS AGM tomorrow: Why Tan Sri Azman Yahya of SCOMI is not seeking re-election

Updates @ 9:05 pm on 21-6-2012: Tan Sri Wan Azmi binWan Hamzah steps down from MAS Board during the AGM. The other aviation experts like Tan Sri Azman Yahya, Tan Sri Tan Boon Seng of IJM, Dato’ Rohanan binti Rozhan from ASTRO and David Lau Nai Pek are holding on to their directorship even though they could not show what were their contributions for the past TEN MONTHS. Tan Sri Wan Azmi;s said decision should be applauded and a very responsible acts.
One would have thought that Tan Sri Azman Yahya is a very busy man with so many companies to take care of especially SCOMI. The four chose to remain for reasons best known to themselves. Will do another posting soon about those remaining.
Updates @ 12:50 pm on 21-6-2012: The minority shareholders were questioning the competent and integrity of members of the Board of directors of MAS. They have also expressed their discontent with regards to their performance. From 10: 10 am this morning until now, the Board was still facing heavy criticisms from the shareholders. They could not even proceed to pass Resolution 1 to approve the Financial Statement let alone their Re-elections. The Board have been subjected to severe embarrassment. Yours truly has been informed that Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar’s most trusted crony, Rashdan, did not attend the AGM.
Yours truly must apologies for not been able to attend because your truly question on the BinaFikir‘s consultancy fees and the 12 companies involved in the fuel hedging losses for RM3.3 billion for Parliament was No: 4 on the list. It was answered at 10: 30 am this morning. It will be posted here later.
After the MAS-AirAsia share swap, the brainchild of the little Napoleons in Khazanah Nasional Bhd, MAS will now hold its AGM on 21-6-2012 at 10:00 am, MAS Academy.
Finally Rashdan is OUT! What about Rozman Omar and Azhari Dahlan?

Updates @ 1:15 pm on 13-6-2012: The MAS AGM has been fixed for 21-6-2012 at 10 am, MAS Academy, Kelana Jaya.
At long last En Mohamad Rashdan Yusof aka Danny (Rashdan) will finally leave MAS on 30-6-2012. It was long over due but it is better late than never.
Amok’s crony Rashdan is OUT, who are NEXT?

Updates @ 12:30 pm on 31-5-2012: Rumour has it that Mr Shane Nollan of PlaneConsult, who had played a very significant role in the uplifting of the 35,000 passengers from AAX Sdn Bhd with very low fares and the Re-Accommodation Agreement, has ended his “honeymoon” as Acting Commercial Director of MAS yesterday. Was his tenure ended abruptly? Is PlaneConsult still doing the “CONSULTING” work for AJ?
It seems that Rashdan, the Amok’s most trusted crony, is still running “AMOK” in MAS. He was seen accompanying AJ in the inaugural A380 flight from Paris to KL yesterday.
Can someone in MAS help to confirm the above? Thank you
YB Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanazlah, Minister of Finance II said that MAS has been instructed to submit its projection plans to the Government to monitor its performance and ensure it remain competitive. MAS has been also instructed to submit its projection plans for the next five years to the government. For full report in Sun Daily please read in HERE.
NO to Share “SUAP”, NO to Rashdan, Shane Nollan, PlaneConsult, Rozman Omar, Azhari Dahlan, Nor Zalida & others

Updates @ 3:55 pm on 9-5-2012: Yours truly has just been reminded by a reader Mr KL Ang that Mr Martin Barrow is another Mat Salleh that was brought back to MAS after the infamous Share “SUAP” and that he is just as incompetence as Mr Shane Nollan. Mr Martin Barrow was brought back by AJ on 19-1-2012 to be Advisor to Group CEO and he also sit on the Board Safety & Security Committee and advise MAS on “Global developments on wide range of commercial issues”, in HERE.
With such Mat Salleh Advisor and yet AJ and the top management of MAS are still in desperate need for the other consultant firms like PlaneConsult and others to think for them. No wonder MAS is BLEEDING due to the “TOP HEAVY MANAGEMENT”. Please read “Time to bring real aviation experts onto MAS board”.
