The little napoleons in Khazanah love COLLABORATION/CCF so are the babies!
In PART 1 we stopped at the sorry state of Rural Air Service (RAS) and Fly Asian Express Sdn Bhd (now AirAsia X) where six aircraft were grounded due to un-airworthiness and another one was cannibalised for spare parts, and how MAS was left to pickup the pieces thereafter.

Updates @ 9:30 pm on 19-9-2013: On 15-9-2011 The MD of Khazanah Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar has been quoted to have said that “The recently inked home jersey sponsorship with Barclay Premier club Queen Park Rangers is a good deal for the national carrier”. He also told newsman that “We think that we got a good deal to stand on its own commercially. I think all the numbers are there, we just need to add value”. Read HERE.
Yours truly believe that at that material time many Malaysians also share the same thoughts as Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, who is a known to be a corporate GURU in Malaysia. Many have claimed that Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar through his BinaFikir‘s “WAU” had also saved MAS from the brink. Please read below the events after 18-8-2011 where MAS was supposed to pay £3.2 million more than AirAsia for the said sponsorship and got less for it. Was it a good deal after all?

Tuan Wee Choo Keong [Wangsa Maju]: Yang Berhormat Menteri, minta penjelasan sedikit. Kapten Sumali ini adalah seorang pegawai DCA. Tugasnya adalah untuk safety audit kapal terbang dan keselamatan yang lain. So itu bukan tugas dia. Persoalannya adalah itu bukan tugas dia. Dia bukan pilot.
Tuan Wee Choo Keong [Wangsa Maju]: Ya. Beliau bukan pilot MAS. Jadinya beliau tidak ada hak.
Dato’ Seri Kong Cho Ha: Ya, beliau memang bukan pilot MAS.

Tuan Wee Choo Keong [Wangsa Maju]: Beliau bekerja untuk DCA. Dato’ Seri Kong Cho Ha: Beliau tidak dibayar oleh MAS juga. Tuan Wee Choo Keong [Wangsa Maju]: Ya, bukan dibayar. Masalahnya conflict of interest. Beliau untuk menjaga keselamatan kapal terbang, flight dan sebagainya. Beliau dari situ boleh ambil masa, time off kerja beliau dan pergi bawa kapal terbang. Ini sudah salah daripada segi abuse of posisi.
Dato’ Seri Kong Cho Ha: No, no. Tidak, tidak. Jadi, untuk itu… Tuan Wee Choo Keong [Wangsa Maju]: Itulah masalah Yang Berhormat Menteri.

“Low-cost carrier AirAsia Bhd wants to opt out of all joint-venture agreements with national carrier Malaysia Airlines (MAS), a source says. AirAsia decided at a board meeting last week that it would seek to terminate its agreements with MAS soon, according to the source, in HERE.

Regrettably En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya (AJ), the Group CEO of MAS, still refused to provide answers to the several pertinent questions posed to him regarding the designing of new pale blue livery of MAS and the re-branding exercise, in HERE, as follows:
After some 10 months in MAS En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya (AJ), as MAS Group CEO, should have been able to identify some of the major leakages that needed to be plugged as part of his many BIG turnaround plans. But it would appear that AJ is more interested in plugging the wrong LEAKS!

Updates @ 4:30 pm on 18-5-2012: Please read “Rafidah gone off her rockers”. If YB Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz has gone off her rockers then AJ has gone senile to have signed the secret “Supplementary Collaborative Agreement” and two MOUs with AirAsia/AAX almost immediately after the secret share swap was unwound. Until this day AJ could not reveal what were the exact nature of the collaborations. So far, what we have witnessed was a collaboration based on “MAS gives ALL, AirAsia/AirAsia X take ALL”, inHERE.
The secret MAS-AirAsia share swap has been unwound by YAB PM, YAB Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak, on 2-5-2012.
It must follow suit that all the appointments that were made after the said secret share swap must also be terminated because those appointments were made under the ill thought out advice and an undue influence of those irresponsible personalities in Khazanah especially, En Mohammed Rashdan Yusof aka Danny (Rashdan), the Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar (Amok)’s most trusted crony and ex-business partner in BinaFikir Sdn Bhd, in HERE.
