
It has been reported that the Indonesian transport ministry has banned AirAsia from flying six of its domestic flights in the country as part of the crackdown on violation of regulations by the low cost airline.

According to the Kompas.Com news report published last night at 20:25, the Indonesian Minister of Transport, the Honourable Pak Ignatius Jonan, has said that he had a discussion/meeting with the CEO of AirAsia, Tony Fernandez. From the said discussion/meeting, Tony Fernandez has admitted that flight QZ8501 was not in accordance with the permit.

After the crashed of AirAsia’s flight QZ 8501, it has been announced by the Indonesia Ministry of Transport that AirAsia flight 8501 was not authorised to fly on Sunday, the day (28 December 2014) when the flight QZ 8501 went missing for several hours and crashed into Java sea, HERE.
