Saya mengucapkan terima kasih kerana diberi peluang untuk mengambil bahagian untuk membahas Rang Undang2 Pembekalan 2011 YAB PM bertemakan Bajet 2011 “Transformasi Ke Arah Negara Maju Berpendapatan Tinggi” dan ini akan menumpu kepada empat strategi utama berikut:

  1. Mendaya Kembali Pelaburan Swasta;
  2. Membangunkan Modal Insan;
  3. Mensejahterakan Hidup Rakyat; dan
  4. Memantapkan Penyampaian Perkhidmatan Awam.

The Auditor General Reports for 2009 were very critical of many Ministries

The Auditor General Reports for 2009 was finally tabled in Parliament in the afternoon of 25-10-2010 (Monday). There are many damning reports against several Ministries including Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture.

In the said Report there are 250 recommendations for year 2009 that have been forwarded to the various Ministries, Government Departments and GLCs for corrective actions and to avoid repetitions of weaknesses. The Auditor General Office shall monitor the situations and ensure that actions be taken by parties concerned with regards to the said Reports and it shall provide the outcomes in the Reports for 2010.

Medan Idaman Sdn Bhd is the developer of Idaman Sutera Condo, Medan Idaman.  The Joint Management Body (JMB) of Medan Sutera Condo has been requesting for the rectification works to done by the developer to the sewage piping, which was not in accordance to specifications, how one unit of condo owned by the developer has 153 car parks and various other matters. The JMB has also been requesting the developer to handover the balance of the sinking fund but so far no respond.

MCMC: How is the USP being managed? Bagaimanakah USP dikendalikan?

As at 31-12-2010 2008 the USP fund was RM4.67 billion. Please read the comment by Ahiruddin Attan a.k.a Rockybru asked several pertinent questions, which are very interesting. I shall table those questions in Parliament this coming week.

Of late, the Malaysian Communication & Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has been in the news for reasons best known to itself. The blogger, Rockybru, has been investigated by MCMC for one of his postings and his “Ferrari” was also detained. YB Datuk Seri Utama Dr  Rais Yatim, Minister of Information, Communication and Culture has lodged a police report on Rockybu’s said posting. This was an unprecedented act. Since this matter is now being investigated by MCMC and the police cyber crime will have to be also involved sooner or later. So far no MACC report has been lodged.  Too complicated for me!

Penerangan Komunikasi dan Kebudayaan melaporkan pada polis atas artikel Rockybru. Ini adalah perkara yang diluar jangkaan. Oleh kerana perkara ini sedang dalam siasatan oleh MCMC dan polis jenayah siber akan terlibat juga. sehingga kini, tiada laporan dari MACC yang dilaporkan. Perkara tersebut terlalu rumit bagi saya!.

Second Reading of Supply Bill 2011 – Budget 2011

YAB Menteri Kewangan akan mencadangkan:-

“Bahawa Dewan ini, mengikut seksyen 4(3) Akta Kumpulan Wang Pembangunan 1966, membuat ketetapan iaitu satu jumlah wang sebanyak tidak lebih daripada lima puluh satu billion satu ratus lapan puluh satu juta lapan ratus sembilian puluh empat ribu (RM51,181,894,000) dibelanjakan daripada Kumpulan Wang Pembangunan bagi tahun 2011, dan bagi tujuan-tujuan dan butiran-butiran perbelanjaan pembangunanyang dinyatakan di bawah Maksud Pembangunan atau (“P”) dalam senarai Anggaran Perbelanjaan Persekutuan 2011, yang dibentangkan sebagai Kertas Perintah 14 Tahum 2010, adalah diuntukkan di bawah Maksud-maksud yang berkenaan jumlah-jumlah yang bersetentangan dengan butiran-butiran itu di ruangan tujuh dan lapan senarai tersebut.”

PM Department ignored Deputy Speaker’s order to answer question.

Economic Planning Unit (EPU) under PM Department has failed in its duties to Parliament to provide answer to Questions No: 30 during Questions Time. It was a very simple question concerning the New Economic Model with the specific reference to a piece of land belonging to the Health Institute in Bangsar.  I have made several requests to the department in Parliament which handles Parliamentary Questions for answer to my said question but the officer in the EPU can only promise to send but didn’t bother to fulfill. I have raised the matter twice in Parliament this afternoon. The Deputy Speaker ordered the officer concerned in PM Department to provide the answer but the order was totally ignored.  I didn’t know that this particular question is so sensitive!  Since the officers in the EPU treat Parliament with contempt, I shall raise the matter again tomorrow before the Budget was presented by the PM.  Lets see what the PM is going to say about it.  Below is the Question No:30:

Rahimi’s first SD did not implicate anyone but cannot be located

Now that Latheefa Koya has implicated me in the scandals surrounding the circumstances under which the Statutory Declaration (SD) of En Muhammad Rahimi bin Osman (Rahimi), one of the young former aides of YB Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, was obtained. I am compelled to respond to the immature and thoughtless acts of this desperate PKR young upstart who was trying so hard to implicate me in order to save herself from being prosecuted under the Penal Code for the subsequent SD of Rahimi purportedly sworn on July 1, 2008, two days after the first SD was sworn before me on June 29, 2008.
