It was most shocking to discover that the Ministry of Finance did not bother to provide the answers to one of my Parliamentary Questions for written answers, HERE, which was supposed to be answered in the October – December 2010 Session. I knew that it was not going to easy for the Khazanah Bhd to provide answers to this question. The main reason being that millions of Ringgit have been paid out to the so-called consultants for projects during the Tun Abdullah period, which was also popularly known as the “4th Floor Administration”. Malaysia was then headed by the de facto PM, you know who lah …. It was also the honey moon period for the government where there was little scrutiny by the opposition.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 28 — PAS MP Dr Lo’ Lo’ Ghazali has warned that the non-Malays would take over ownership of the Kampung Baru Malay enclave here once the Malay Agricultural Settlement (MAS) administration board is dissolved next year, HERE.
Minister of Finance II must table the Sime Darby’s forensic reports in Parliament
It has been reported in the press today that Sime Darby has filed civil suit against its former CEO Datuk Seri Ahmad Zubir Murshid and 4 others for RM338 million. It seems from the press reports that Sime Darby did not seek relief for a Mareva Injunction whereby all the movable and immovable assets (i.e. properties, shares, money in the bank accounts and etc) of all the Defendants will be frozen in order to preserve all the assets of the defendants pending the disposal of the said civil suit.

16 December 2010: Minister of Finance II had failed to carry out his promise to table the Sime Darby’s Forensic Reports in Parliament
During the debate on one of the Bills involving Ministry of FInance. I questioned the Deputy Minister of Finance, YB Senator Donald Lim with regards to the Ministry of Finance’s decision to keep the Dime Darby’s Forensic Reports secret. I reminded the said Deputy Minister that the Minister of Finance II, YB Datuk Husni, has promised me in the last session of Parliament that when the Sime Darby Forensic Reports are completed it will be tabled in the House. But the Ministry of Finance had failed to do so.
