Parliamentary Questions For October Session 2011

Updated on 22-9-2011 @ 6:10: Please go to Outsyed The Box to read “7 reasons why Khazanah should not undertake the share swap between MAS and AirAsia by troubleshooter”. It is very interesting to read the seven reasons in the said article. Perhaps YB Tan Sri Nor Mohamad Yacob, the former very powerful Minister of  Finance II under the Badawi’s Administration, Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, the MD of Khazanah, Tan Sri Md Nor Md Yusof, the then MD of MAS during the famous WAU and the newly crowned Chairman of MAS after the secret share swap, En Mohammed Rahsdan Yusof, co-founder of BinaFikir Sdn Bhd with Tan Sri Azman, Datuk Azman Yahya, the reappointed MAS director of Scomi fame, can learn a thing or two from the said articles. After reading the said article, it is hoped that the abovenamed personalities will see the light and stop the secret share swap and reverse all the recent decisions that were detrimental to MAS/Firefly i.e. cancelation of Firefly’s full load flights during festive season, termination of Firefly’s profitable routes from JB to KK and Kuching, the RM18 sponsorship of home jersey for QPR,  and the most recent termination of MAS profitable route from KLIA to Bandung (Indonesia) and others that have not been exposed. Please read HERE.

YB Tan Sri Nor Yakop and Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar: It is never too late to say “NO”!

The then Minister of Finance II under the Tun Abdullah's Administration, Tan Sri Nor Mohamad Yacop

Updated @ 9:55 pm on 20-9-2011: MAS has terminated its service KLIA – Bandung – KLIA as from 4-10-2011. Please visit the MAS website and see for yourself in HERE. This is another profitable route that has been terminated by this whizz kid En Mohammed Rashdan Yusof and his management team. The profitable routes of JB – KK & Kuching – JB were also terminated from 15-9-2011. During the recent Hari Raya season, several Firefly full load flights were also canceled. The new Managing Director should now reviewed all decisions taken by this whiz kid Rashdan and his management team. He should immediately stop this whiz kid Rashdan from running “Amok” in MAS before its too late.

Cabinet must say “NO” to Tony

This is the type of KLIA-2 that Tan Sri Tony wanted

Tan Sri Tony Fernandes wanted LCCT for AirAsia. The Tun Abdullah’s Administration built for him costing the nation more than RM200 million. AirAsia was also allowed to owe huge airport tax debts for years under the same Administration. He wanted Rural Air Services (RAS) the same Administration gave him with a reward of about RM65 million subsidy. In less than a year he dumped the RAS to MAS with seven un-airworthy aircrafts plus a bill of RM35 million to MAS. Khazanah Nasional Bhd pretended not to know about it. MAS had to absorb the RM35 million. A year or so ago he wanted to build his own airport in Labu. Sime Darby was very keen under the leadership of Datuk Zubir. Luckily the Government under Datuk Seri Najib said “NO” to him. He wanted the new KLIA-2 without aerobridges, MAHB said “YES SIR”, in HERE.

Khazanah: Who are the business partners of Tony in AsiaAsia X, a private limited company?

In the Inquire Business report 0n 7-8-2011 quoted Tan Sri Tony Fernandes and his partner to have said in a joint statement that

“As the major shareholders of AirAsia Bhd and AirAsia X Sdn Bhd (which operates long-haul budget flights), we are committed to increasing shareholder value in both our core investments by continuously exploring various opportunities to enhance our franchise,in HERE. The emphasis is mine. From this joint statement it was crystal clear that Khazanah Nasional Bhd, as the majority shareholder of MAS appeared to be very desperate to buy a franchise for these “special” brand names AirAsia and AirAsia X from Tan Sri Tony Fernandes and his business partners. With the pace and the way in which this so-called share swap was concluded with such utmost secrecy gave the impression to all Malaysians that Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, Mohammed Rashdan Yusof and especially YB Tan Sri Nor Yacob, the Minister of Finance II under PM Abdullah Badawi were TOTALLY unaware of the Malaysian business partners of Tan Sri Tony Fernandes’ lucrative aviation business.
