Yours truly regretted and apologized that a new posting cannot be done with regards to what Tan Sri Azman Mokthar and En Ahmad Jauhari, MAS MD, have told PAC with regards to the secret MAS-AirAsia share swap and the so-called Collaborative framework on 21-11-2011. PAC to investigate into the secret MAS-AirAsia share swap
During the Committee Stage of the Budget Debate this evening (2-11-2011), yours truly had to bring up the secret MAS-AirAsia share swap again because the Minister of Finance II did not answer the points raised during the Budget Policy Debate.

Yours truly hopes that for the sake of MAS, our national carrier, En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, the current MD of MAS, Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, En Mohammed Rashdan Yusof, YB Tan Sri Nor Mohamad Yacop and the Government will seriously consider what the former chairman and MD of MAS have said about the track records of AirAsia and AirAsia X Sdn Bhd before embarking on more decisions. which will be detrimental to MAS. Were the recent decisions made by the current AirAsia and AirAsia X Bhd “friendly” MAS management to cancel Firefly routes from JB to KK and Kuching in September 2011 and MAS route from KL to Bandung in October 2011 in the best interests of MAS?
Bursa KL: Take drastic actions against the directors of MAS & Tune Air
Prior to the inking of the secret MAS – AirAsia share swap and the “Collaborative Frameworks” agreements , both MAS and Tune Air Sdn Bhd did not make any announcement that they were negotiating for the secret MAS – AirAsia share swap. Both the directors of MAS and Tune Air Sdn Bhd’s are duty bound to disclose to Bursa KL about the said negotiations.

TUAN WEE CHOO KEONG [ WANGSA MAJU ] minta MENTERI KEWANGAN menyatakan sama ada Suruhanjaya Sekuriti (SC) sedar bahawa sebelum penggantungan saham AirAsia Bhd (AA) dan MAS daripada urusniaga pada 09.08.2011, saham AA telah meningkat naik dari tarikh 20.07.2011 dengan “unprecedented trend” dan seterusnya, namun harga saham bagi MAS menurun dan harga saham AA ditutup pada RM3.95 dan MAS RM1.60 dan apabila (perkataan “selepas” tercicir) penggantungan tersebut harga saham AA menurun dan saham MAS meningkat.
