En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya (AJ), the Group CEO of MAS and En Mohammed Rashdan Yusof aka Danny (Rashdan), Deputy Group CEO of MAS and an Amok’s crony, have stressed on cost cutting under their New Business Plan to save MAS.  Are they seriously walking their talks or just a slogan for people with consultant mentality to fool the Government and the entire nation?

Who is the CEO of MAS?

Is Datuk Kamarudin Meranun the defacto CEO of MAS?

It would appear that the defacto CEO of MAS is Datuk Kamarudin Meranun, who is also the Deputy CEO of AirAsia Bhd and recently appointed Non-Executive Director of MAS after the secret MAS – AirAsia share swap was inked on 9-8-2011.  Yours truly was surprised that a Non-Executive Director of MAS was speaking as though he is the CEO of MAS.  Even the powerful En Mohammed Rashdan Yusof, the whiz kid and Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar‘s former business partner in BinaFikir Sdn Bhd, is extremely tame after the appointment of En Ahmad Jauhari as the CEO of MAS.

Dr Wafi: MAS employees questioning the wisdom of the “matrimony”

The learned Dr Wafi Nazrin Tan Sri Abdul Hamid, who is an expert in Competition Law

Below are the latest exchanged of e-mails between Dr Wafi Nazrin Tan Sri Abdul Hamid (Dr Wafi) and En Matdiah Mohammad, the Secretary of MASE. By right Dr Wafi should not feel so jittery about the outflow of informations from MAS if the secret MAS – AirAsia share swap really meant to save MAS i.e. encouraging collaboration between MAS/AirAsia and not to stifle MAS/Firefly. As a professional, Dr Wafi should call a spade and spade. The outflow of informations from MAS employees are nothing if compare to the informations that are accessible to the directors of MAS. Dr Wafi should be more concerned about the outflow of information to the competitors of MAS unless he knew that the spirit of the secret share swap and the so-called “Collaborative Framework” were meant to stifle MAS and Firefly indirectly.

Parliamentary Questions For October Session 2011

Updated on 22-9-2011 @ 6:10: Please go to Outsyed The Box to read “7 reasons why Khazanah should not undertake the share swap between MAS and AirAsia by troubleshooter”. It is very interesting to read the seven reasons in the said article. Perhaps YB Tan Sri Nor Mohamad Yacob, the former very powerful Minister of  Finance II under the Badawi’s Administration, Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, the MD of Khazanah, Tan Sri Md Nor Md Yusof, the then MD of MAS during the famous WAU and the newly crowned Chairman of MAS after the secret share swap, En Mohammed Rahsdan Yusof, co-founder of BinaFikir Sdn Bhd with Tan Sri Azman, Datuk Azman Yahya, the reappointed MAS director of Scomi fame, can learn a thing or two from the said articles. After reading the said article, it is hoped that the abovenamed personalities will see the light and stop the secret share swap and reverse all the recent decisions that were detrimental to MAS/Firefly i.e. cancelation of Firefly’s full load flights during festive season, termination of Firefly’s profitable routes from JB to KK and Kuching, the RM18 sponsorship of home jersey for QPR,  and the most recent termination of MAS profitable route from KLIA to Bandung (Indonesia) and others that have not been exposed. YB Tan Sri Nor Yakop and Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar: It is never too late to say “NO”!

The then Minister of Finance II under the Tun Abdullah's Administration, Tan Sri Nor Mohamad Yacop

Updated @ 9:55 pm on 20-9-2011: MAS has terminated its service KLIA – Bandung – KLIA as from 4-10-2011. Please visit the MAS website and see for yourself in HERE. This is another profitable route that has been terminated by this whizz kid En Mohammed Rashdan Yusof and his management team. The profitable routes of JB – KK & Kuching – JB were also terminated from 15-9-2011. During the recent Hari Raya season, several Firefly full load flights were also canceled. The new Managing Director should now reviewed all decisions taken by this whiz kid Rashdan and his management team. He should immediately stop this whiz kid Rashdan from running “Amok” in MAS before its too late.

Greetings from Khazanah: Fly AirAsia fly

Updated 06-09-2011 @ 11:30 pm: It was a known fact that MAS set up Firefly to provide an alternative to AirAsia and AirAsia X Sdn Bhd previously known as Fly Asian Express Sdn Bhd aka as FAX. Remember in 2006/2007 FAX snatched Rural Air Services (RAS) from MAS during Tun Abdullah Badawi’s administration and received … Read more

Khazanah: Who are the business partners of Tony in AsiaAsia X, a private limited company?

In the Inquire Business report 0n 7-8-2011 quoted Tan Sri Tony Fernandes and his partner to have said in a joint statement that

“As the major shareholders of AirAsia Bhd and AirAsia X Sdn Bhd (which operates long-haul budget flights), we are committed to increasing shareholder value in both our core investments by continuously exploring various opportunities to enhance our franchise,in HERE. The emphasis is mine. From this joint statement it was crystal clear that Khazanah Nasional Bhd, as the majority shareholder of MAS appeared to be very desperate to buy a franchise for these “special” brand names AirAsia and AirAsia X from Tan Sri Tony Fernandes and his business partners. With the pace and the way in which this so-called share swap was concluded with such utmost secrecy gave the impression to all Malaysians that Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, Mohammed Rashdan Yusof and especially YB Tan Sri Nor Yacob, the Minister of Finance II under PM Abdullah Badawi were TOTALLY unaware of the Malaysian business partners of Tan Sri Tony Fernandes’ lucrative aviation business.
